Incoming freshmen will participate in an exciting morning designed to help them transition to Buena Park High School.

9th Grade Parent/Guardian Orientation
Parents should attend according to the student's last name.
A–F: 12:30 p.m. – 1:30 p.m.
G–O: 1:30 p.m. – 2:30 p.m.
P–Z: 2:30 p.m. – 3:30 p.m.
During the Parent/Guardian Orientation, Parents/Guardians will receive important information and support to help prepare for a successful start to the school year. Staff will be available to assist with Data Confirmation, Parent Portal access, and student schedule pickup.
Parents will also have the opportunity to purchase a spirit pack at special Coyote Days pricing, helping our families save money while providing students with admission to exciting school events, school spirit items, and other valuable benefits throughout the year. This is a great opportunity to complete important back-to-school tasks and get your student ready for an amazing first year at Buena Park High School.
Parent Reminder
To help make your Coyote Days experience as smooth as possible, please complete your student's Online Enrollment and Data Confirmation before attending Orientation.
New Student Enrollment: Please be sure to bring the required enrollment documents if they have not already been submitted:
- Proof of address (one of the following only):
- Current utility bill (water, gas, or electric) in the parent/guardian's name
- Current rental or lease agreement
- Current mortgage statement
- Student's birth certificate
- Current immunization records
Completing these steps before Orientation will help ensure your student is fully enrolled and ready for the first day of school. We appreciate your cooperation and look forward to welcoming you to Buena Park High School!
